There are times in our lives that we make multiple attempts to go around our issues. We can wear ourselves out in our efforts to not feel our emotions or think our thoughts. Avoidance is draining and does not help us to heal and to grow. Sometimes, the only way out truly is to go through. Go through the thoughts, go through the emotions. This is not to say that you live in the thoughts and emotions, but that you acknowledge the thoughts and emotions and allow yourself to go through it so you can reach the other side and find your healing. We recommend you seek help, this can be in the form of a self help group, group therapy or individual therapy. It is not easy to go through some of the things that we have experienced or continue to experience. If you feel stuck, please seek help and find someone to help you get through some of the more difficult thoughts and emotions that you experience.
