Outpatient Treatment Types
Here's a little bit more about the process and treatment:
An evaluation is conducted face-to-face with every client to determine the level of care needed (see evaluations). If a client received a recommendation for treatment (NOTE: An evaluation does not necessarily mean that a client will need Outpatient Treatment), Capstone offers the following Outpatient Treatment options:
Tier I, GOPThis program is typically 3 months long, wherein a client attends a minimum of 1 time per week. |
Tier II, GOPThis program is typically 4 months long, wherein a client starts attending at a minimum of 2 times per week for 2 months, then the frequency decreases to 1 time per week for 2 months. |
Tier III, IOPThis program is typically 6 months long, wherein a client starts attending at a minimum of 3 times per week, for 2 months, then steps down to 2 times per week for 2 months, then to 1 time per week for 2 months. |

Capstone Counseling is not a 12-step program, but takes a clinical approach to treatment. We are looking for what works, and have found that there is no "one size fits all" answer to any of our lives. So, treatment through Capstone is fluid and is aimed more at the underlying issues behind all of our behaviors. We are looking to help people find happiness and to live in accord with what that which makes them...happy, or at peace, or to feel fulfilled, etc. We believe in our clients and look forward to meeting you!
NOTE: "Treatment" is typically defined as something other than an Educational class or course (PRIME for Life, Thinking Errors, Parenting Class, etc.)
