Forgiveness is a gift

Hello Everyone,

Forgiveness is a gift that we choose to give. Most of us just gave presents at Christmas and some of the gifts may have been requested or "asked for". Other gifts we gave because we wanted the person to have it, or we gave because it brought us joy to give it. Sometimes, it feels as though we need  someone to say they are sorry... this is our understanding of how someone asks for forgiveness. We don't give forgiveness unless it's asked for. But, if forgiveness truly is a gift, that only we can decide if we are going to give it or not....do we really need someone to ask for the gift in order to give it? Research shows that it makes the majority of us happier to give than to receive. If this is true, and we are lacking or down on happiness, maybe we could try to give, and make it a choice to forgive because that is what we want to do. I have been forgiven when I didn't ask for it, and when I definately did not deserve it. I can assure you, it felt like a precious gift that I didn't earn and I wondered how I would ever repay it.... Let's end this year by giving a powerful gift, let's choose to be a person who gives the gift of forgiveness just because that's who we want to be. I would like to be that person and to live in a world where others give because it brings them joy...
Take care everyone and thanks for reading....

Give yourself a gift in 2017

Hello Everyone!
Was there something that you wanted to achieve in 2016 that you have not achieved yet. There is still time....Make a list of things that you were going to do this year. Start with the most achievable and get it done. No task is too small. Maybe it was to clean out your garage, clean out a closet and donate items or turn in paperwork that you have been putting off. Regardless of the task, give yourself a gift for 2017 and make these last weeks of this year count!

Thanks for reading, here's to making these weeks count!
